Hi, I'm Caroline, a passionate photographer with a deep love for both my craft and the animals I capture. I specialise in pet portrait photography, focusing on creating timeless images that reflect the unique personalities of the pets and people I photograph.
I am a great lover of furry friends. My little rescued dogs often help in post production! I have had the pleasure of having bunnies and guinea pigs.
My journey into photography began with a BA (Hons) in Photography and Media Arts, which I completed in 2009. Since then, my work has grown and evolved, with a particular focus on animal photography.
Awards and Qualifications
Over the years, I've been fortunate enough to receive recognition for my work, including awards for my pet photography. These accolades fuel my passion and encourage me to keep pushing the boundaries of what I can capture. In addition to my experience, I hold a Licentiate qualification in both dog and baby portraiture, which further enhances my ability to create beautiful and heartfelt images of your beloved pets and children.
As well as working with animals, over the last 15 years I have worked at Picture Partnership Professional Photography. Although I specialise in pet photography, I am also experienced in maternity, newborn, baby, family, product photography as well as capturing weddings and events.
My Experience with Animals
My love for animals extends beyond the camera lens. I've had the privilege of working with rescue dogs as a volunteer at Foal Farm Animal Rescue, where I not only captured their beautiful personalities but also became more deeply involved in animal welfare. This experience has given me a unique understanding of how to connect with animals, allowing me to capture their true essence in each photograph. I have been involved in many professional dog training sessions and am always on the look out for more information on dog behaviour.
I have a huge passion for Foal Farm and all my dogs have been adopted from this wonderful charity.
At home, I'm surrounded by two wonderful dogs who continue to inspire me every day. I’ve also had rabbits in the past, so I understand the importance of patience and care when working with different animals.
In November 2022 I contributed to Foal Farm's kennel rebuild and brought my studio to Foal Farm to photograph dogs in need of finding their forever home. This was initiated and featured on Challenge Anneka which aired on Channel 5 in March 2023.
Professional Development
I'm a proud member of a prestigious photographic society SWPP (Society of Wedding & Portrait Photographers), and was a member of the MPA (Master Photographers Association) in the past. I'm currently working towards my next qualification, always striving to improve my skills and stay at the forefront of the photography industry. I believe in continuous learning, and this commitment to personal and professional growth is something that I bring to every session I photograph.
They say never to work with animals or children, luckily I have lots of patience and compassion.
